Women of Word were founded in the fall of 2000 by Guylène Lauzon. A fully bilingual Senior Administrative Assistant, Guylène has extensive expérience in managing office operations in manufacturing, retailing and services. She also has experience as consumer goods sales representative and sales manager.
After spending many years working in major national and international companies, Guylène started her own business. Even though she sometimes worked at her client's offices, she decided to specialize in virtual assistance. She is one of the first virtual assistants in Quebec and she is quite proud of it! Her company provides administrative and general secretarial services: Transcription of audio recordings, organization of conventions, general annual meetings, meetings of the Board of Directors and various other meetings, note-taking and transcription, preparation of reports and minutes as well as file follow-up, revising, writing and translating documents, bookkeping. In short, all that is needed to properly manage office activities. With the years and the increasing number of contracts, she has put together a team specialized in various areas: virtual secretarial services, translation, revision and writing, simultaneous translation, Power Point presentations, accounting, trademarks, web sites, and much more...
Guylène loves to work with small and medium-size businesses, non-profit organizations and associations, self-employed workers and individuals as well. With her extensive experience, she is able to contribute to their success, at a cost lower than if they had to hire a full-time administrative assistant with all that it entails as expenses.
Guylène is member of the following organizations:
- Réseau des professionnels en soutien administratif virtuel (RPSAV) and she adheres to their code of ethics
- Agent Solo - Experts for your mandates
- Pige Québec
